Stanozolol is the substance where second most sanctioned judoka athletes has tested positive for.
The sample was collected by the International Testing Agency under the testing authority and results management authority of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) during an in-competition anti-doping control on 30 July 2024 in Paris, France, during the Men’s -81 kg 1/16 final. The result was reported by the WADA-accredited laboratory of Paris on 1 August 2024.
The athlete has been informed of the case and has been provisionally suspended until the resolution of the matter in line with the World Anti-Doping Code and the IOC Anti-Doping Rules applicable to the Olympic Games Paris 2024. This means that the athlete is prevented from competing, training, coaching, or participating in any activity, during the Olympic Summer Games Paris 2024.
