NADA Germany takes over results management

NADA (National Anti-Doping Agency in Germany) has officially taken over the results management for doping violations for the German Athletics Federation (DLV) and the German Speed Skating Association (DESG).

- We hope this creates a suction effect and draw more organizations, said NADA board member Dr. Lars Mortsiefer. DLV President Dr. Clemens Prokop said: \"I welcome the agreement because it is precisely the examination and prosecution of doping violations by a neutral, independent institution joined the credibility of the anti-doping fight will increase further.\" The agreement with the DESG applies retroactively as from 1 May 2011. The NADA strategy is designed to be carried out investigations as well as sanctions procedures by independent institutions. A major advantage of the transfer of the results management process for organizations is that the risk of liability on the NADA passes.
